I love being pregnant, the bumping around in my belly is getting even more exciting as I try to figure out what position he is laying in. Wondering if that little protruding bump is a foot or a hand, or a knee or an elbow. It is a wonderful feeling. But once I go to bed everything changes... Usually I can't sleep because I cannot get comfortable.. Who would have thought that laying on your side could be such a discomfort? Well to add to that I have been getting heartburn! Have you ever tried to sleep sitting up? Well if you haven't IT IS NOT THAT COMFORTABLE at all! So that brings us to sleepless night number 3, Braxton Hicks... The continuous and uncontrollable "flexing" of my abdominal muscles as my uterus contracts over and over again doesn't make for a good night sleep... I find myself awake wondering why my muscles are tight when I am not making them that way... After 3 nights of no sleep and working all day after by Thursday I am sick and tired, literally. I think my body has given up. I am now suffering with a headache, running noses and tiredness. I decided that this mama needs to take care of numero uno and stay home from work to let my body rest.
And that is that, I have vented... back to bed for this girl.
On a Brighter Note

My good friend Paula gave birth to a beautiful 6lbs - 6 week early little angel, Serene on Friday March 28, 2008. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Serene wasn't supposed to make her big debut into the world until May 4th (2 weeks before our little man). Needless to say it made me get my act together. I have packed my bag and the babies bag and scheduled our hospital tour. Now all we have to do is wait...
