Some bath time fun!
This past week Ethan cut his third tooth (Feb. 22)! It is the top left tooth, the 4th tooth (top right) is about to bust through, you can see the white just under his gums. Ethan is moving around a lot, he holds onto the table/couch/tv stand, anything he can and walks along its edge. A couple of times he has even let go and stood for a few seconds, these moments are happening a lot more often. He has had a few “boo boos” during these adventures, he bumped his chin hard enough to get a “rug burn” looking scuff, and then later that day he stood up in the tub and slipped and hit his chin again! Poor baby, his bottom tooth even cut his top gum enough to bleed a bit, it just breaks my heart when he gets hurt, but it’s all a part of growing up. I like to give him the freedom to explore so he tries new things.
The cutest thing this week has to be is faker cough! Jonathan and I were both sick over the weekend, so there was a lot of coughing going on. The other day Ethan and I were playing and I coughed and he looked at me and made the funniest little ‘cough’ sound, he forces the air up his throat with such force and makes the funniest faces! I love this boy!

He seems to have adjusted to his new car seat, there is the odd time he fusses when I put him in, but for the most part he is just fine.
One more announcement, Ethan will be going on his first plane ride on March 28! Ethan and mommy will be flying to Edmonton to visit Aunt Dee Dee (my sister Natalie), she hasn’t met her nephew yet.
