July 10th we made a quick trip to Blind River. We had some wedding stuff to do and thought we’d make it a little visit.

We squeezed a lot into the weekend. We brought Ethan to his first ever parade, but we have no pictures, because Uncle Nathan only managed to get pictures of trees and daddy forgot to snap some pictures! But Ethan LOVED it! He wanted to go up to all the cars and touch them. He was even dancing to the music. He was so well behaved.

Ethan had so much fun running in Grandpa and Grandma Solomon’s backyard.

Mommy really wanted to take Ethan to the beach for the first time but there just wasn’t enough time.
"I promise mom, the flower was already broken..."

Time for a break.

Stopping to smell the flowers.

We brought Ethan to the fair, he was too small for any of the rides, but we enjoyed being out as a family. Ethan met a new little buddy, Tanya St. Jules’ little boy Nicolas. He even shared his Goldfish crackers with him. What a good boy.

The boys. (Uncle Nathan, Ethan, Grandpa Solomon and Daddy)

Tuckered out from all the excitement.

Boy On A Mission...
Ethan saw Uncle Nathan's pop and he was determined to get some.

"Now how do we do this?"

Hmmmm....

14 Months Old!

Ethan is already 14 months old! One year ago we had a brand new 2 month old and we were just figuring things out, everything was so new to us and we had so much to learn. Who would have thought that we would have come so far! We are so proud of our little boy. He is so smart and eager to learn.
We brought Ethan to Toronto for the first time this month.

We spent the day walking around Yorkville and went in and out of shops.

(He was looking at the constructions equipment across the street)

Ethan loved the pigeons.

He also insisted on drinking my pop all the way down Bloor St. (I don’t ever let him drink pop, it was a rare moment of weakness on my part).

We had such a fun day out as a family.
Ethan looks so cute perched on the table watching TV.

Relaxing in his chair!

Ethan has found a new “room” in the apartment… mommy’s closet. He realized that there is a perfect little nook for him to creep into, he even closes the door and hides!

He loves juice boxes, but they are a messy treat, so he doesn’t get them too often, but when he does boy of boy, he is one excited little man.

Our little “cool dude” has finally adjusted to wearing sunglasses. The other day he decided to wear them around the house while he played. It was so cute. I kept telling him “you look like Daddy with your sunglasses on”.

When we told Daddy the story we were in our room and I said “Ethan go get your sunglasses and show Dada…” Ethan ran into the living room and I looked at Jonathan “Do you think he’ll remember what he is supposed to be getting?” no sooner did I finish that statement and Ethan comes running in with a proud look on his face waving his sunglasses around! What a smart little guy!
I had to include this funny little picture... Ethan was sniffing Daddy's smelly feet! I guess because we do it to him, he thought it would be funny to do it to Dad.

Every night Ethan helps mommy get the bath ready, he puts his own toys in there to play with.
