2 Years Old!

Birthday Party Number 1!
It is hard to believe that Ethan is already 2 years old! We started celebrating a week early with a birthday party at Aunt Kelly and Uncle Shawn's!



He was so excited to when he saw the candles. "Me blow it mommy!"

Ethan's Official Birthday!

When I picked Ethan up from Daycare I told him Mommy and Daddy had a surprise for him at home. While we were in the car I told Ethan "Daddy is making meat for dinner!" - Ethan loves MEAT! When we finally got home I asked Ethan "What do you think the surprise is?" and he yelled - very excitedly I might add - "MEAT!" What a silly goose. When we walked in the door his eyes light up when he saw the balloon and realized that was his surprise! The ran up and down the hall pulling his balloons behind him!


After dinner it was present time! Ethan could hardly wait. He actually found the pile of presents and started tearing into them. The plan was to wait until after the cake, but he just couldn't hold off!


Playing with the Lego's that Grandpa and Grandma sent him in the mail! HE LOVES his Lego's!


"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Ethan..."
Ethan got so excited and yelled - "I BLOW IT" and blew out all the candles.


More cake!


Mommy and Daddy got Ethan a blow up ball tent. Ethan said "Mommy come in!", I couldn't say no to the birthday boy.

Ethan loved his Lego's so much Daddy had to help him build a tower.

Ethan wanted an orange cake... or has he would call it "ornage". I could only get the awful pink colour, So I thought hmmm red + blue = purple... so I added blue and got this army green! Yuck! I used that for the big cake and made Ethan a red cake.

We have been so lucky with all the hot weather this year. Our little cutie at the top of the slide!


Ethan thought it would be a good idea to colour his balloon red... and then try to eat it. All he accomplished was getting marker all over his face!

Mommy and Ethan touched a stingray, it was slippery. Than Daddy had a turn.


They even got splashed by one!


They had thing you could drop change into to donate to some wildlife thing... anyway Ethan asked for money and I gave him a handful of change. This is him after he threw it ALL in at once...

This is Ethan arguing with a little girl. She would call out "Charlie! Come over here!" and Ethan would look at her and say "No, it's MONKEY!" I guess the gorilla's name was Charlie, but Ethan without fail would shout back at her EVERYTIME!

Daddy's 32nd Birthday!
Ethan was helping me put the candles on the cake. I ran into the livingroom for a split second and when I came back there were little pieces of green wax on the table. "Ethan did you eat a piece of candle?" "yep!". He was liking the carmel off and thought maybe the candle was eatable... then he stuck it back in the cake.


Taking the candles out after he helped Daddy blow them out.
