I cannot believe how fast time is passing. It feels like we just got home from the hospital last week! And our baby boy is almost 2 months! This week Ethan is continuing to change. Every morning I am greeted with a big beautiful smile! And when we have our "playtime" every morning Ethan has started to coo when we play! No matter how often I am woken up at night his little face makes me smile every time.
Ethan has been all over the place with his sleeping and eating patterns. When he was a newborn he was predictable and on a fairly regular schedule, now he is all over the place. He'll sleep anywhere from 15 minutes to 4 hours! And eat every 1 to 4 hours. It makes it really hard to plan anything. He is also a lot fussier but I am learning what he wants when he gets cranky. We are learning together everyday.
Next Friday is our first big car ride. We are heading back home for Jon's Dad's wedding. It is usually a 6 hour trip, but with the baby I anticipating it being 8! I am crossing my fingers hoping that Ethan will sleep most of the way but we wont know until we are on the road how things will going, the longest Ethan has been in a car is about 30 minutes... and he usual ends up crying... So wish us luck!
