When I found out I was going to become a mother I couldn't imagine the amount of love I could have for someone. I also couldn't imagine all the things I would have to learn. Now that Ethan is older I am learning his needs and wants and also figuring out how to use them to my advantage, like keeping him up and extra hour so he sleeps longer. I have still been reading a lot of books, you can never learn too much.
We are planning our first big trip back hom tomorrow, 6+ hours in the car with a 7 week old, I expect it to have it's challenges. I hope all goes well, but I am sure it will give me something to write about.
Ethan is getting bigger everyday, I almost can't believe it is the same boy we brought home from the hospital.
Oh, he's starting to cry, the joys of motherhood, gotta go!
