19 Weeks Already!

I know every week I say the same thing, “I can’t believe how fast the time is going by” but it is so true. And I am SO busy!

To get my blogs published in a timely manor I have resorted to scribbling notes while I sit on the floor and entertain the little man.

The past few days he has been unusually irritable. I was convinced that he has started a cold, but at his 4 month check up yesturday the doctor assures me that he is health as can be. It must be the teething.

So when will he start sleeping through the night again? Was I just unusually spoiled for month 2 and 3? All of a sudden he turns 4 months and we are back to getting up 3 times a night? I guess he is going through a change and whether I like it or not I am along for the ride. Someone told me that all the sleepless night while I was pregnant and couldn’t get comfortable were preparing me for these days… oh well… although I do a lot of belly aching, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I couldn’t imagine someone else being there for him to sooth his cries and snuggle up to him at night while he gets rocked to sleep. Being a mom is so rewarding, it is all the little things that make it all worth while. So what if getting the laundry and house work done is not at the top of my list of priorities? I have still been managing to get things done but I am starting to wear myself pretty thin. (Speaking of thin… side bar: I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 3 pounds, I am now 151… I guess my diet of ice cream and cookie dough before bed is paying off!) Anyway, enough about me.

Ethan had his 4 month appointment yesturday. He got his second set of needles. I have to say that I am pretty proud for our little man, he only cried after the second needle for about 5 seconds. My poor baby. Ethan is now 16lbs 4oz..

I have been trying to get Ethan to spend more time on the floor because he hasn’t rolled over yet. I guess that will come in due time.

I guess that is it for this week. Hopefully we’ll be back home (Iron Bridge/Blind River) in a couple of weeks for Thanksgiving. This time I am NOT going to run myself into the ground visiting. I think I am still recovering ha ha ha.

Oh wait, I just had to include this picture of Ethan playing with his feet!

That’s all for now.
Take care,
Hugs and kisses
Mommy and Ethan
