Happy Birthday!

Ethan celebrated his first birthday this week, I can't believe our baby is 1!

We are so fortunate to have such great friends in our lives. It is really hard sometimes not having our family here with us, it is times like these that you really appreciate the friends we have and how blessed we are to have people in our lives that care so much about us. My girlfriends gave Ethan his very first birthday party ever. Kelly got the gang together to help celebrate the day before his actual birthday. There were lots of kids for Ethan to play with, Braxton (18 months), Serene (13 months), Emma (15 months) and her two big brothers Lucas and Alex, and of course there mommys and daddys.

Happy Birthday to you...


Kelly set up a "decorate your own cupcake" station for the kids. Mommy and Ethan decorated one for the birthday boy, but he wasn't too interested in eating it.


Opening birthday presents! He got a couple really cute outfits, a toy car, a Tigger stroller and a big bouncey ball!



On his actual birthday we had a little party for him at home. Our friend Danijela and her 4 month old baby boy Santiago came, and so did our friend Sara.
