11 Months and Counting

This week Ethan cut his 7th tooth, his 4th on the top.

Ethan had picked up some bad habits, like throwing toys! I blame this act on my sister Nancy and my niece Tristin. They thought it was funny to make Ethan laugh by throwing stuffed animals at the wall, he laughed his butt off, but now he thinks it is funny to throw everything. The other day the daycare at my gym said "I have never seen Ethan behave like this before... he was throwing toys and hitting other kids." WHAT? We are working on the throwing toys thing, but I truly believe the "hitting" was misinterpreted, Ethan loves to hug other children, as you have seen in pictures, and he likes to touch faces, I think both of these actions could be misinterpreted as hitting. Ah, the joys of parenting.

Ethan "walking" around with daddy.

Ethan had a little friend come to visit us this week. Baby Santiago (named after the capital city of Chile), he is 3 months old. During this visit Ethan decided that after 11 months not using a soother, that this would be the day to start, because the baby had one. The picture below is Ethan taking the soother out of Santiago's mouth, he continues to take it out, put it back in, he even traded with him for a bit! Too cute, I think he wants a baby brother...

We also went to visit my friend Barbara this week, Ethan is so lovable, here is a picture of him dancing with Barb!

Ethan loves music and loves dancing, if only I could put a video in place of this picture. He was wearing headphones listening to music and dancing!

Still getting into trouble.. "What zip-lock bags mom?"

It isn't enough to play with the pots and pans...

... now he has to climb right into the cupboard!

He is so interested in crawling into new undiscovered places... like under his excersaucer!

With Ethan getting new teeth we thought it would be important to get him comfortable brushing his teeth.

The weather has been gorgeous here in Southern Ontario. Here are a couple pictures of our family walk.

It was very sunny, so daddy put his hat on Ethan.
